Does Laser Vision Correction Surgery Have Side Effects?
By wpadminAll surgery procedures carry some inherent risks. LASIK is a surgical procedure. Although serious complications with LASIK are rare, possible side effects include dry eyes, halos, glares and decreased night vision. Many instances of side effects are related to pre-existing conditions, but anything is possible.
The desired result of any vision correction procedure is to reduce your need for glasses, but 20/20 vision is not guaranteed.
To improve your chances of receiving an optimal result from your procedure, be sure to research your eye surgeon prior to selecting your surgeon. Be sure he specializes in laser eye correction and performs many surgeries (as opposed to a surgeon that does them “occasionally” or “once in a while”).
